Ticket categories for children vary depending on the operator. Please note that not all ferry operators allow infants under 2 years old to travel free of charge. We strongly recommend checking the age category terms for your selected route to ensure you purchase the correct ticket based on your child’s age at the time of departure.
Children are welcome on board, and you may bring car seats and strollers with you. The ferries are generally safe for families; however, speedboats can be quite bumpy, especially in rough seas. While children are allowed to travel, it is up to parents to decide whether to take the risk, as the ride may be uncomfortable or stressful for very young children.
In cases of bad weather, ferry operators may refuse to allow children on board for safety reasons.
To keep your child safe, please locate the life jackets as soon as you board and keep a close eye on them at all times. Sea conditions can sometimes cause motion sickness, so it’s wise to consult your child’s doctor beforehand about appropriate seasickness remedies.
